The Inspectors found that Mount Primary makes 'good educational provision for its pupils' and that 'the standards attained meet national expectations, with pupils following a broad and relevant curriculum within a stimulating environment.'

Headteacher Mr J. Martin particularly welcomed the fact that school policies were found to provide a 'very effective' framework for the promotion of spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and that the pupils respond well.

In the report, the Inspector said: "The pupils behave well and display positive attitudes towards their learning. During their lessons they listen attentively, concentrate well and engage in activities with interest and enthusiasm."

The governors would like to congratulate teachers and children for the successes and hope that together, they will continue to build on these good foundations.
