WIRRAL Councillor Phil Gilchrist is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Wirral South in the forthcoming General Election. He did not contest the recent Wirral South by-election for family reasons.
"Our grandson has just celebrated his first birthday. The timing of the General Election enables me to play a full part in this campaign," he said.
Phil is leader of the Lib Dems locally, lives in Bromborough and represents Eastham Ward.
