AN EASTHAM school has come joint first in a local music festival.
St Mary's C of E in Eastham won the Bromborough Festival under-12 Junior Choir Shield. About 35 children aged from 7-11 years old sang two songs to clinch the prize at the Bromborough Festival of Music, Speech, Dancing and Drama on March 15. The choir sang Fiddler of Dooney, which was a standard piece and Spring's a Coming.
