THE DATE for Bromborough Golf Club's charity event in aid of guide dogs has been set for Sunday, May 4.
The charity day aims to raise money for Muriel Cooke House, a new local training centre for guide dogs. The competition is a mixed greensome open to members of any golf club with a bone fide handicap, with the green fee set at £30 per couple.
As well as prizes for the three couples with the highest number of Stableford points, there will be other prizes disclosed on the day.
All profits will go directly to the charity. Entry forms from Alan Macbeath, on 334-3857. Alan would like to point out the change to the previously published date.
