From Anonymous:-HOW wonderful to hear that Birkenhead Park has been given a grant from the Lottery to co-incide with its 150th Anniversary. I shall look forward to all the celebrations.
Please could the powers-that-be look at the Francis Avenue/Park Road South entrance to the Park? It is a very well-used entrance by families and children. Unfortunately, the entrance for the past few years has been made up of rubbish, grit and dog muck.
A simple clearing of rubbish and tarring over the path would make such a difference as it surely is a health hazard. All the other entrances to the Park are clean and free from rubbish and tarred.
Surely, a small amount of lottery money could improve this entrance?
