The most recent development in the investigation led to an Alice lookalike, who was spotted in a Wallasey pub, being eliminated from the inquiry.

Detectives are also seeking to match up to five sets of fingerprints from Alice's house.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the special incident room at Wallasey on 777-2929.
