THE NATIONAL launch of the Galant takes place today (Wednesday, April 2) at Mitsubishi showrooms around the country. It marks the eighth generation Mitsubishi Galant and a prize draw is being held at the Eastham showrooms of Mitchell Mitsubishi.
The main prize is a 2.0 Galant Saloon or 2.5 Galant Estate. Other prizes include a QE2 cruise, flight back on Concorde and a holiday of a lifetime on the Orient Express.
The Mitchell team were delighted to see Wirral Globe readers at the National pet Pig Show at Leahurst Veterinary School, part of Liverpool University and sponsored by Mitchell Mitsubishi, over the Bank Holiday.
It was hoped the Mitsubishi balloon would be launched and a range of Mitsubishi vehicles would be on display.
Last year 4,000 pig fanciers from far and wide went along to view the 40 pigs being exhibited.
Early estimates expected crowds in excess of 5,000 to attend the event.
