A WIRRAL campaign is now up and running to help householders cut fuel bills and win valuable energy-saving prizes worth up to £2,000 in a free prize draw.
North West Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (NORWEEAC, formerly Wirral Energy Advice Centre) is a non-commercial, independent organisation, offering homes throughout the region a free Home Energy Survey questionnaire. From this, a report unique to each home is compiled, full of energy-saving ideas, and sent by post.
Completed surveys received before April 25 will be entered into the draw.
The following prizes have been donated by companies keen to encourage energy conservation: a washing machine courtesy of Comet Group plc; cavity wall and loft insulation from Manweb Contracting; a microwave from Iceland; draught-proofing from Healthcare; DIY vouchers from B&Q and Do It All; and low-energy lights from SLI Lighting.
To enter, call free on 0800 512 012, (answering machine out of office hours), quoting Energy Campaign. Ask for a Home Energy Survey. This will be sent out with a freepost return address. There are no visits or sales; all details are treated as confidential.
All callers will benefit from the free advice service, but only completed surveys received by April 25 will be entered in the prize draw.
