VOLKSWAGEN has updated and revised its line of Golf accessories. There are plenty of ideas for making a Mark 3 Golf look like a McRae job! Everything that a customer might desire has been considered.

The mean-looking Golf GTI Colour Concept, pictured left, displays the available exterior styling additions: dark-tinted twin headlights, lowered suspension, aero front bumper slots, skirts and spoiler kit, sports exhaust, raised rear spoiler with LED brake light, and blue tint rear light lenses. The latter also come in red and green while the 16 inch five spoke alloy wheels are just one design from a nine-strong selection stocked by dealers. These items don't just fit the GTI, any Mark 3 Golf can be converted by Smith Knight Fay.

Inside, drivers might like to go for the partial or full wood-rimmed airbag steering-wheels. A variety of high-tech gear knobs are also offered, fashioned from aluminium or beechwood plus there's even one with a carbon-effect finish for that F1 feel. Thanks to Volkswagen and Sony's 'Trade-up' scheme, customers can pick from a huge number of in-car entertainment units.
