SINCE its 1991 arrival in Britain, the Renault Clio has been a regular top 10 best seller, notching up over 200,000 sales - a success helped by Nicole and her suave Papa. On sale from Friday April 4, the Clio RN 1.2 Zoom with an automatic clutch is introduced.

The Clio RN 1.2 Zoom is designed for today's congested roads. The car's 'Easy' automatic clutch system allows the precision of driving a regular five-speed manual version (the gear lever is identical to the manual) without needing to use a clutch pedal.

For town and city driving, or even on country roads, the advantages of stress-free driving speak for themselves and there is no fuel consumption penalty for using the system.

The Clio RN 1.2 Zoom is the first car in its sector to be equipped with an automatic clutch.
