MAGISTRATE Les Chrishop was praised for his service over 27 years when he sat for the last time at the Wirral court.
He was first appointed at the old Bromborough Court. It was said he had always been fair and impartial during his bench duty.
A Scout enthusiast, he will spend some of his retirement on his other hobbies including painting and playing the piano and organ.
