LUBRIZOL, Bromborough, has joined the ranks of the increasing number of Wirral-based companies to commit to the Cheshire Wildlife Trust.

David Bennett, Site Manager, said: "Since operations began in 1963, we have co-existed within a community having many areas of natural beauty and wildlife. We have constantly striven to ensure that in all our operations we employ the best equipment and processes which enable us to contribute to a healthy environment."

The Cheshire Wildlife Trust is the region's leading environmental and conservation charity, managing over 40 Nature Reserves in Cheshire, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wirral. The Trust is committed to a UK richer in wildlife and is involved in work to reintroduce certain species to Cheshire as identified in the national biodiversity action plan. The work of the Trust is supported by a growing number of both individual and corporate members, reflecting the need of companies to demonstrate their outward commitment to the environment.
