It follows previous permission to remove contaminated material from the site. This work has been done and the latest application is for nine small industrial units.
Elsewhere, in Birkenhead, MDC is following the letter of the law regarding a request to affix lettering on the front and sides of 58 Hamilton Square, a listed building forming the corner of a terrace of offices.
MDC decided that the lettering would not be detrimental to the character of the building, after it sought the views of English Heritage.
