CHARGED with attempted murder over three years ago, Ian Stenhouse, 42, of Frost Drive, Irby, appeared before Wirral magistrates this week.
It is alleged he attempted to murder his estranged wife Sandra Stenhouse in July 1994. He is remanded on bail for four weeks and ordered to avoid prosecution witnesses.
WIRRAL WILDLIFE is holding an open day at Wirral's newest nature reserve, Cleaver Heath, on October 5. The idea is to give local residents a chance to see and get involved with the reserve, on the site of demolished Cleaver Hospital.

All under 5s living in Wirral are invited to take part in the sponsored toddle at Gayton Playing Fields, Heswall, on Sunday, October 5.
