VANDALS broke into the grounds of Castleway Primary School in Leasowe at the weekend and dismantled a fountain, set up in memory of a pupil who died in a house fire last year.
The water fountain, paid for by donations from parents and teachers was installed by Waterworld in Neston two weeks ago as a permanent shrine to the memory of eight-year-old Max Murphy who tragically died in a house fire last November.
The school is waiting for a visit from Waterworld to hear the extent of the damage to the fountain.
