A NESTON man charged in connection with a fake bomb at the accident and emergency department of Arrowe Park Hospital is to face crown court trial.
Wirral Magistrates declined summary jurisdiction for 29-year-old Gary Andrew Davies, of Moorland Avenue, Neston, and bailed him until November 6 for committal proceedings.
He is charged with placing an item giving the appearance of a bomb at the department and also communicating information a bomb was present.
There is also an allegation of retaining or wilfully secreting or keeping or detaining 63 letters belonging to staff and patients at the hospital.
