ACCOUNTANT Sharon Margaret McClean, aged 33, of Heathfieldcroft Avenue East, Bromborough, has been named as the woman pillion passenger killed on a 1100cc motor cycle locally.
She died from multiple injuries after being thrown off the bike following a collision with a Ford Escort on the A550 at Childer Thornton, on Sunday afternoon, near the Cheshire Yeoman Pub.
The male rider also from Bromborough was taken to Chester Countess Hospital for treatment. The Escort driver was not injured.
The fatal accident happened at 1.30pm, on Sunday, and police are appealling for witnesses.
