THE BIBBY name is well known locally, but who has heard of Nicola and Alexandra Bibby? Well, the stage is set for them to debut at a concert for St John's Hospice.
Piano duo Nicola and Alexandra have been playing together since 1984 and have performed regularly elsewhere in the country and abroad.
Alex, of Column Road, West Kirby, told the Globe: "I recently moved here with my husband Martin Cooper, an artist, so the Bibby Duo has performed little in this area and consequently few people have heard of us!"
Nicola and Alexandra debut at the Williamson Art Gallery, Oxton, on Friday, October 10. Tickets £7.50 on 625-5711 or 632-1676. Proceeds for St John's Hospice.
