BIRKENHEAD's John Helme will be racing at Oulton Park, in Cheshire, on Saturday, in a last round battle bid to win his class in the sports saloon championship. The freelance motor engineering consultant and former college lecturer, designed and built his own racing car. It is a double header event, two races in one to clinch the championship. Other races on Saturday are for BMWs and Austin Healey sports cars.
