CIVIC greetings to the Mayor of Wirral, Barney Gilfoyle arrived at New Brighton, by vintage car from the Mayor of Tameside Councillor Eileen Shorrock.
He returned by hosting the event with sunshine and named this Alis drop head his car of the show. Owner David Goddard, came from Bolton with Tame Valley Vintage and Classic Car Club. Businessman Clive Williams who sponsored the New Brighton Classic brought the oldest car to Wirral, a 1897 Roberts Electric Car.
