LOTUS-like but even more affordable?

Kia Sports Car will have its European debut at London having never previously been seen at a show outside Korea. The production line for the Kia Sports Car was purchased from Lotus in 1995, becoming Korea's first sports car to go into production and is currently on sale in Korea and Japan.

Built on a monocoque chassis and constructed of composite plastic to reduce weight, the Sports Car is powered by a 151bhp engine capable of 0-60mph in just 7.3 seconds with a top speed of 126mph.

Kia is keen to continue its reputation for being Korea's only sportscar manufacturer and at London will be the KMSIII, a stunning 2+2 sports coupe. Although still a concept, the KMSIII is a running prototype, powered by a 170bhp 2.0-litre engine and is capable of a top speed in excess of 140mph.

A striking Sportage will be on the stand from October 15, the Harlequin, where each body panel is a different colour; although a one-off, the Harlequin will be used to gauge people's reaction with a view to offering it as a limited special edition.
