SEVEN sides from the Wallasey & District Sunday Soccer League progressed into round two of the Wirral FA Premier Cup, on Sunday. Two of the clubs, Windsor and Gorsedale, received byes.

Two goals each by Gary Edwards and Peter Jones ensured an easy passage for Millhouse as they beat fellow league side The Queens 4-0.

A Paul Jones hat-trick and a Paul Chapple goal gave Coach & Horses a 4-0 victory away to Holt Springs, while Nelson Vics edged out MTCL Neston, with Mike Williams, Alan Griffiths and the outstanding Robbie Gerrard on target.

A Lee McWilliams goal edged out Poulton Royal/Dale 1-0 and a Sean Atlas treble helped Telegraph to overcome Old Wirral Hundred 4-3.

Division One action saw Parkfield beat 27 Club 6-1, with Mike Williams, Carl Williams, Brian Cousins, 2, Mark Rimmer and Gary Cotgrave on target.

George Parry's hat-trick and a Steve Fletcher strike gave Vanser Club a superb 4-3 success over Harvest.

Morton Arms lead Division Two following their 3-1 defeat of The Plough, with John Quinn, 2, and Darren Lampkin on target.

Oyster Catcher stay second after beating Rose & Crown 4-1. Peter Cloy, 2, Ricky O'Neill and Carl Howell scored the goals.
