BIRKENHEAD Park are again to stage their Women's Tens Rugby Union competition at the Upper Park. The opening event last season proved very successful and the players pushed for it to become an annual affair.
Sunday, October 19 is the date with a 10.30am start. There will be 10 clubs taking part. Early matches will be on a league basis followed by a knock-out for the most successful sides.
Clubs taking part in addition to the hosts will be Vale of Lune, Kirby Lonsdale, Waterloo, Colne and Nelson, Manchester, Leigh, Liverpool St Helens, Glossop, Sandbach, Ormskirk and Sedgley Park.
