KEVIN Rowan netted five times in the Houlihan's Birkenhead Sunday Soccer League Youth Division as Cammell Lairds beat Heswall Colts 12-1.

In the Premier Division SDV lost 2-0 to Archers Social, and Queens Park beat Rock Ferry Social 4-0 with John Lucas, John Hammond, Mike Riley and Phil Hughes on target.

In Division Two a Ritchie Dixon goal saw off Bebington RAFA to give Neston their first win of the season and Glen Williams netted the only goal in Horse & Jockey's win at home to Shell.

In the Third Higher Bebington Lions beat Houlihans Variety 5-2 with a hat-trick for Paul Butt, and Steve Griffiths and Dave McBerth on target. Wirral Villa pulled off the shock of the day beating Penketh 2-1, with Steve Issacs firing both goals.

In the Fourth DW Fencing certainly put up a strong defence winning 9-0 at home to Stork Colts, with Mark Wakefield scoring four, and Stork beat Railway Tavern 1-0 thanks to a Ben Jenna goal.

In the Youth Barry Clark hit four as Poulton Youth beat their own Colts 8-2.
