THE Tranmere Midfielders is the name of a new teenagers' club Tranmere Rovers are launching to cater for young fans aged between 12 and 17. We asked readers to suggest a suitable name and Rovers' goalkeeper Danny Coyne, the first club president, chose The Tranmere Midfielders, put forward by Gillian Kell, of Thingwall, who wins a Rovers football signed by scoring legend John Aldridge and the Tranmere first team squad. The Tranmere Midfielders' first meeting is on Monday (8pm-10pm) at Aldo's in The Prentonian Suite, alongside Prenton Park. Do go along!
Danny Coyne and a host of Tranmere players will be in attendance. There will be raffles, prizes and great fun, so come along!
