WHAT a tremendous response there has been to our competition to win tickets to Saturday's Tranmere Rovers-Norwich City clash!
Our winners, Christopher Bawden, of Woodchurch Estate, Birkenhead, and John Trenbirth, of Bebington, each receive a pair of Main Stand tickets.
Globe Sport has teamed up with Nationwide Building Society, sponsors of the Football League, to offer ONE PAIR of tickets to each of the two winners of free-to-enter competitions for each Tranmere Rovers home match this season in Division One.
Rovers' next Nationwide date at Prenton Park is on Saturday week, when they entertain Portsmouth - and, once again, there are two pairs of Main Stand tickets to be won!
All you have to do is correctly answer this question:
Which former England manager, now chairman of Portsmouth, hopes to guide Australia to next year's World Cup Finals in France?
Write your answers on a postcard/back of an envelope - do please remember to put your name and address and, if possible, a daytime telephone number - and send to: The Sports Editor, Wirral Globe, Globe House, Catherine Street, Birkenhead, Wirral L41 6HW.
But do hurry! Closing date is next Monday (October 6) and the two winners, who will each receive one pair of Main Stand tickets, will be announced in next week's Globe.
Good luck!
