NOW is the time to submit nominations for the Cheshire Woman of the Year award.
Each year nominations are invited for remarkable women whose community spirit, professional achievement or personal courage deserves wider recognition.
One hundred women are invited to a prestigious lunch at Chester Town Hall where the winner is announced and presented with a trophy and a cheque for £1,000 to be donated to a charity of her choice.
If you would like to nominate someone you think deserves recognition and she was either born in Cheshire/Merseyside area or lives or works there, please send her name and details to: Miss Jean Jenkinson, 2 Chenotrie Gardens, Noctorum Road, Birkenhead, L43 9WU. Nominations to arrive no later than December 12.
The NSPCC will benefit from the money raised by the event, and all proceeds will be used to help abused and neglected children in the area.
