CHILDREN and families are invited to toddle for Children in Need. Organised by Heswall Round Table the sponsored toddle, one of 150 throughout the country, starts at 11.30am, on Sunday, October 5, and takes place at Gayton Playing Fields, behind the Glegg Arms, on Chester Road.
Vice Chairman of Heswall Round Table, David Dalton, said they were hoping for a good turn out. "The event itself is short and we have organised a variety of entertainments with the emphasis on 'family fun.' The fun starts at 10.30am and includes bouncy castles, craft stalls, fire engines, refreshments and tombolas."
