ONLY three games survived the wet weather and they were all in Division Two, where The Saddle took over as leaders following a 5-1 victory over Hotel Victoria. Barry Ferns, 3, Mark Cutts and Steve McGuinness were on target.
Understrength Hamiltons suffered their worst reversal of the season, losing 8-2 against Liscard, with Brian King, 3, Peter Carbett, 2, Neil Kendrick, Robby Cavanagh and Cameron Hughes inflicting the damage.
The Plough were involved in an amazing 11 goal thriller in which they beat Gogglebox 6-5. Their scorers were Gary Climo, 3, Neil Pickering, Paul Robinson and Mark Kee, while Stuart Tuffin, 3, John Jones and Jim Shaw replied for Gogglebox.
