MAL Jones, using locally-sponsored Omega sails, won the dinghy Frostbite series completed by West Kirby Sailing Club on the Marine Lake.
Mal, crewed by Karl Quirk, gained seven firsts in 15 starts. Martin Hartley was runner-up and John Carlin third overall. The last race went to Neil Platt in Southies Boat.
In the slow section, Julie Cornah in Baronova finished first in the concluding race, with the series going to Tom Pratley in Jewel.
