ARE you the owner of a small dark brown mongrel dog, which was found walking towards the M53 slip road on Woodchurch Road, Prenton, on Christmas Eve?
New Brighton resident John Jones picked up the stray dog and took it home hoping the owner would come forward to the police. He has taken care of the dog until its owner can be found.
The mongrel is a bitch, old with a defect in her eye, and has a smooth dark brown coat.
If anyone has lost a dog of this description over Christmas, phone John's mother Mrs Maureen Jones on 639-5962.
