MANCHESTER National Motorcycle Show is on January 9 to 11 1998 at G-Mex Centre.

Trade stand space is completely 'sold out', bigger stands mean more bikes on show than ever before, being displayed either directly by the manufacturer or their local franchised dealers. Sports bikes to scooters, customs, cruisers, classics and dirt bikes too. Bikes from Triumph, Aprillia, Honda, Harley-Davidson, BMW, Suzuki and Yamaha, including the fabulous Yamaha R1.

"Up to four spectacular fashion shows each day, featuring lazer lighting and pyrotechnics, check out the fashions in the flesh. Win prizes, grab some give-aways, gaze at the race action on the video walls, listen to the live band. Outdoors stunt riders Jason Finn, Dave Coates and Jack Frost will be performing the seemingly impossible leaving the audience gasping 'how do they do that' (we have brought in floor dryers so only the worst weather will prevent the action from taking place.)" say the organisers.

Remember the wall of death at New Brighton? Manchester has one and a globe of death too, both situated in the corners.

Getting to the G-Mex from Wirral could not be easier, it's clearly signposted once off the motorway.
