SALES of new Skoda cars in the UK reached an all time high in November with a total of 15,854 new Felicias sold so far this year.

The previous record was in 1988 when sales reached 15,773 for the whole year, and this new record gives Skoda a 0.73 per cent market share and an increase in sales over last year of a massive 24 per cent in a market where sales are up only 17 per cent overall. Total sales of Felicia since its launch in 1995 have now topped 35,000 units, and in the year when the Felicia received honours from What Car? Auto Express and Diesel Car magazine, year end sales are expected to reach 16,600 units continuing Skoda's record breaking success.

By the end of September world-wide sales were up 28 per cent to 243,500 over the same period last year. Demand for the Felicia and Octavia continues to outstrip supply making Skoda the fastest growing car marque in Europe.

Skoda Felicia pricing starts at £6,299 on the road, including delivery, plates, fuel, 12 months road tax, three years unlimited mileage warranty and three years roadside assistance through the AA.
