ANOTHER fine mess! Wirral's Stan Laurel and girlfriend Jeenie Weenie are in need of a Boxing Day lift to Ulverston, in Cumbria, home town where the real Stan Laurel was born. They were promised a lift but it has broken down! Stan and Jeenie Weenie, real life girlfriend Samantha, are going to a fancy dresss party with Ollie (Jim McClure) but only if they can get a lift.
Stan, who lives in Liscard, says: "If anyone is going near Ulverston on Boxing Day and have room for two passengers please let me know. I will be pleased to help pay the petrol-otherwise Ollie will have to go to the party alone." Stan can be contacted on 513 0322.
