STUDENTS who want to join the country's biggest and most dynamic industry can find out what's in store, simply by looking in the newly published Careers Guide, produced by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders with support from the Department of Trade and Industry.

This guide looks at the wide choice of jobs available in the motor industry and includes several case studies, where recent industry recruits talk about their qualifications, what their job involves and how they see their careers developing.

Plenty of colour photos make this an exciting guide for an exciting industry, and a comprehensive list of contact names and addresses is included. "This is a great opportunity for students of all ages to find out about this industry and the great career opportunities it can offer," says SMMT Director of Public Affairs, Roger King.

The Careers Guide is being sent to secondary schools and university libraries throughout the country.
