HOW nice it was to sample to the excellent Christmas menu on offer at the Shippons Pub in Irby Village.
At this time of year it is so easy to pay exorbitant prices for a mediocre meal.
My husband and myself enjoyed a beautiful meal - plentiful, homemade and very well presented.
There is a choice of starters, main course and sweets all finished off with coffee, mints and mince pies. All for £8.50. As for the trifile - that would have to be seen to be believed.
Well done, and thank you to everyone at the Shippons Pub for providing real value for money.
