EVER wanted to be a soccer referee? Well, now's your chance!
A coaching course for would-be officials is being organised by Wirral District FA under the auspices of Cheshire County FA.
It starts on Monday, February 9 at Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton Street (7.15pm-9.30pm), and continues every Monday through to March 30 - exam night!
Jack Blakemore, course organiser, believes it is never too early or too late to become a soccer referee. "Everyone who sticks at it says they wish they had started refereeing much earlier," he added. "We try to make it interesting and humorous with plenty of video action."
Course fee is just £10 for the eight sessions (£5 for Juniors, under 16 years) and those who would like to find out more should ring Jack on 638-0269.
