DISABLED motorists can now get closer to their countryside hobbies thanks to the all-wheel drive Subaru Justy, Impreza and Legacy joining the Motability scheme.

Anglers, equestrians and field sports watchers can all benefit from the extra traction and security offered by an AWD Subaru - especially if they have walking difficulties and are uneasy about straying from regular roads.

Now, recipients can get behind the wheel of the UK's only AWD supermini - the Justy GX 1.3 three door - for as little as £199. The Justy example is part of the Motability contract hire scheme which provides a new car for a three year contract and includes all maintenance and insurance.

All the recipient has to do is hand over the Higher rate Mobility Component of their Disability Living Allowance and pay a one-off rental of £199 in the case of the Subaru Justy. Subaru also offers other models from its exclusively AWD car range including the Impreza 2.0 GL AWD saloon and Legacy 2.0LX AWD estate.

The alternative choice open to Motability Scheme customers is Motability Hire Purchase which is over a four or five year period with the customer owning the car at the end of the contract.
