AWESOME Seven Stiles eased their way into the semi-final of the Regent Cup with a devastating 8-1 demolition of Admiral. Steve Thompson fired a hat-trick, assisted by John Dowling, 2, Philip Kearney, Hal Conroy and Ian Dobbs.

Overchurch Hotel gained revenge over The Clarence with a 4-1 victory, goals from Craig Cartwright, Keith Warton, 2, and Ian Snow doing the damage. Chemdal knocked out Great Eastern 5-2, Tom Shannon firing a hat-trick.

In Division Three, F2 remain in top spot after a 9-1 thrashing of Saunders. Colin Wood and Mark Thompson fired hat-tricks, Steve Cottrill added two and Dave Simms the other.

Contenders North Star kept the pressure up with an excellent 3-0 victory over Cheshire Yeoman and, with a game in hand, look very close challengers.
