FURTHER disruption on the Merseyrail network next Friday (February 20) will see Mersey Ferries again offering extra services for passengers wishing to cross between Wirral and Liverpool.

A half hourly service will run on that day and during further strikes planned for Monday, February 23 and March 7, 12 and 17.

Departure times for the extra shuttle from Woodside to the Pier Head are 10 and 40 minutes past the hour, with return journeys at 25 and 55 minutes past.

A single fare on all shuttle journeys is 90p. The normal service will operate an hourly round trip between Liverpool, Seacombe and Woodside, calling at Pier Head on the hour, Seacombe at 20 past and Woodside on the half hour.

Passengers arriving at Pier Head will benefit from a city centre bus link, which is free to ferry users. Free parking is provided at Seacombe. There is a £2 all day charge for parking at Woodside.

For timetable enquiries call Mersey Ferries on 630-1030 or Merseytravel information line on 236-7676.
