BUPA Murrayfield's Barbara' Graham's debut in motor rallying takes place later this month in the Vauxhall Rally of Wales. She joins Mark Cowell, of Thingwall, as his co-driver in a Group N Skoda, battling its way through forest stages in the Bromborough-based Vauxhall Rally of Wales.
Barbara, formerly of Wallasey, now of Heswall, is marketing manager at Murrayfield Hospital, Thingwall. She ended up in the hot seat - thanks to the Globe. We got her to 'volunteer' to co-drive after Mark's regular navigator was put under doctor's orders. Now she will be taking part in the top flight RAC Rally event on Saturday, March 21, when it heads into Wales, after an overnight stop in Bromborough.
Cheering them on will be Wirral Skoda dealers Wallasey Car Centre. Flashback Skoda on last year's night stage of the Vauxhall Rally of Wales arriving at the New Brighton stage
