THERE was heartbreak for Overchurch Hotel in the Birkenhead & Wirral Saturday Soccer League Regent Cup semi-finals - a solitary goal by Frank McDonna sent Chemdal into the final.

Seven Stiles reached their second final in as many weeks, beating Parkfield BA 3-1, thanks to a hat-trick from goal machine Les Jones.

North Star marched to the top of Division Three with a fine 4-3 victory over The Joeys - a hat-trick by Lee Patterson and a Lee McGetrick effort inflicting the damage.

F2 are chasing hard. A wonder goal by Matty Morris was the highlight of their fine win over Seven Stiles Youth. Tarin are back after a 7-2 victory over Old Bank, Robbie Jones hitting four goals, the other coming via Martie Lewis and Chris Wheelan.
