CHESHIRE produced a gritty performance against defending champions Cumbria at Aspatria, on Saturday, to reach the semi-finals of the County Championship. It ended 13-18 in Cheshire's favour, thanks to tries by Mike Blood and Steve Swindells and a conversion and two penalties by Murray King. Now, only Yorkshire, Cornwall and Gloucestershire stand in Cheshire's way.
