NEW Brighton RUFC will today announce the setting up of a Mersey Colts Academy to groom the young rugby stars of tomorrow.
The Academy, a joint venture between New Brighton and Waterloo RUFC, in close association with Liverpool University, is being hailed as one of the most exciting developments in Merseyside rugby circles.
As well as promoting the game of rugby, the Academy will aim to find the best young players and take rugby into local schools.
