SILVERSTONE will play host once again to the Coys International Historic Festival RallySprint on Friday, July 24. Tickets are available at £5 adult, £1 child. The Historic Festival RallySprint is the most recent addition to what promises to be an exciting 1998 RallySprint season.

All holders of the 3-Day Weekend ticket for the festival will enjoy complimentary entry to the Friday evening spectacle on the Roger Clark Circuit. Additional spectators who are only able to catch the RallySprint event will now be able to gain admission to the circuit after 4pm.

Confirmed entries so far include 1990 European Rally Champion, Robert Droogmans in a Porsche 911, John Handley in a Lotus Cortina and Andy Dawson in the world's first purpose-built rally car, the Lancia Stratos. Joining them on the start ramp will be Tony Fall, who enjoyed considerable rally success in the late 1960's in a Datsun 240Z.

The classic event promises fantastic entertainment both on and off the circuit. From early evening, spectators will be able to roam freely around the paddock area steeped in rallying's most celebrated ancestry. A whole host of rally stars will be reunited with the cars that accompanied them to past glories.

All the drama on the Roger Clark Circuit will start at approximately 5pm and last about 2.5 hours before a prize presentation ceremony provides the cue for the start of evening festivities.
