COMPANIES, training providers and individuals who can prove that the training and development of their people is improving their bottom line could win a high profile National Training Award.

CEWTEC, through Business Link, is supporting the National Training Awards. Now in their 12th year, they reward excellence in training across all sectors and emphasise how continuous training and learning is the key to improved business performance.

Last year 92 organisations were rewarded for achieving business success through unlocking the potential of their employees. Many had implemented learning linked to NVQs or were training workers through the Skills for Business, Modern Apprenticeship programme or Investors in People.

Every year, more than 1,500 entrants compete for 250 regional and up to 100 national awards. Besides recognition for training excellence, all winners receive a trophy and benefit from the high profile publicity, prizes and prestige of the National Training Awards.

The winners are seen as leaders in their field for training and organisational performance and to mark this they can use the National Training Awards logo on their promotional literature for three years.

Any local individual, partnerships or organisation can enter and win an award. This year's closing date is May 15. For details, contact Fiona Matthews on 650-6900.
