WIRRAL Equestrian Club stages its second show of the season at Backwood Hall Farm, Boathouse Lane, Parkgate, on Sunday.
Featuring 38 classes for riders of all ages, the show also gives older horses and ponies the chance of an outing in a unique national qualifier for veterans. The Super Solvitax R-A Formula Veteran class is run at shows all over the country, leading to a national final at the end of the year.
The Parkgate show, which starts at 9.45am, will include one of the qualifiers open to inhand and ridden showing classes.
