From P.A. Fish:- RE. the modern bus stops that Merseytravel are erecting around Wirral (Mailbox, April 29). I too have one outside my home, totally ruining my view.
I have a hideous yellow billboard, advertising Merseytravel outside my home. I don't remember being consulted, or my opinion sought, but I am expected to live with it, just as the lady in Bidston Village is expected to live with it.
I note that Merseytravel have targetted more urban areas of the Wirral first. They have not yet hit the 'upmarket' leafy areas of the Wirral - I can only wonder why.
Merseytravel show now regard for the environment and the people who live therein.
