CALLING all young ladies aged between 10 and 17 who fancy a game of cricket . . . Birkenhead Park Junior Women's Cricket team need more players.
Coaching is given to new or experienced players at the weekly practice sessions each Wednesday at Birkenhead Park CC (5.30pm).
Fixtures have been arranged, home and away, against Skelmersdale, Moreton Hall School, Burnley Juniors and Salford Juniors, with further fixtures in the pipeline.
The club has also entered a team in the Cheshire Outdoor Junior six-a-side competition in September.
