YORK Minster was the scene of the ordination of the Rev Jenny Dyer, minister of Lower and Higher Bebington Churches.
Even though Mrs Dyer's two churches also had a special ordination services, 70 people from her congregations travelled to York for the service.
Mrs Dyer, her husband Nigel and children Naomi and Jacob, live in Wellington Road, Bebington.
